Falling into the Present – Berlin

How the idea came about

Driven by the desire to grow as a photographer and to connect with others through creation, I developed the project Falling into the Present at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin, under the mentorship of Loredana Nemes. This process, which culminated in an exhibition in Berlin in 2025, was deeply transformative and allowed me to merge photography with a philosophy of life rooted in presence. Today, my intention is to bring this message into a full exhibition in the city I now call home: Berlin.

The Exhibition

Falling into the Present is an exhibition that invites you to slow down and reconnect with the present moment. It will take place at B23, Berlin, on October 24, 2026, as an evening of connection through photography, music, mindfulness-based activities, and reflection. The project includes a 24-page magazine with images and reflections on time.

The Photos

Falling into the Present is a photographic series created together with eight dancers in a studio set up in my home in Berlin. The project developed through a process of continuous exploration — moments of doubt, experimentation, and clarity that shaped both the concept and the final selection of images. With the support of those around me and my training at Ostkreuzschule, the series settled into an artistic direction that feels coherent with who I am today, and open to keep evolving.

Falling into the Present
